  • Baby time.

We went to the doctor today and finally scheduled the C-section. Thursday July 3rd will be her birthday (unless she decides to show up before then). I'm glad to finally have a date to look forward to.

So, James preached his first revival this weekend. He did a really good job. I didn't get to go to the last service, but I went to all the rest. Everyone said he was great.

I really need to go cook supper now.

    Just a little update.

  • Well, the boys are once again with their Nana and Pop for the week. They are going to VBS in Lake Village. Eli thinks he's really going to school. They are having lots of fun. This is my last chance to get things done before the baby gets here. I have to get my house presentable because who knows who will be in and out of here once she gets here. James is preaching a revival this weekend in West, MS and he's pretty excited.

I'm ready to have this baby. Not to complain, but I stay pretty tired and uncomfortable. I'm getting impatient. I wish she would come right now.

Anyway, nothing much going on right now.

  • Nothing really

Thought I'd take a trip back to good ol Xanga, mostly because the computer I'm using blocks MySpace and Facebook. I can't believe we are less than a month away from having our third child. I'm so excited and nervous to have our first little girl. But I am so happy to be here in Pickens when we have her. I'm looking forward to a little privacy with my newborn.

Eli and Enoch have been with their Nana and Pop for an entire week so I can get things ready for the baby and get a little rest. I can't wait for them to come home. It's so quiet without them. I did need the break though. I was about to go crazy. But I got a lot done and I'm proud of myself.

I think life in Pickens agrees with us. Everything moves a little slower around here. It's very peaceful and the boys have plenty of room to run around outside and play. Things are moving right along at the church and James loves being back in his pastor role.

Oh, yeah we say the new Indiana Jones movie yesterday. So good!

Well, there is no AC in this library right now and it's pushing 90 degrees outside, so I'm outta here.

    Good ol Xanga

I had forgotten all about Xanga. (Just like everyone else) Then I had an urge to go back to where all this blogging stuff started for me. When I used Xanga I would actually write stuff and some people would actually read it. Now all I do is just play around on MySpace and Facebook and I hardly ever write anything. So, here I am writing something on my Xanga site, doubting anyone will ever read it but still feeling good about it.

We had a long off week in Alabama. We celebrated Enoch's first birthday and visited with a lot of people, hung out with old friends, and got a new vehicle. It's a beautiful blue Ford Explorer and our man Ryan got us an incredible, once in a lifetime, deal. After Alabama we made our way to Arkansas, dropped off the boys with Mom and Dad, then headed to Pickens, MS to meet with some folks. Went to church in LV Sunday and came back to Columbia this morning where it is utterly boring.

This week I have to go to the hospital and have an ultrasound of my thyroid because something's not right about it. Then I'll go to the doc again and find out what we are going to do about whatever is wrong.

I think it's going to be a long and boring week, since we have no residents yet. But I'll make the best of it.

Eli and and Enoch are still the cutest boys in the universe and Eli learned how to say "I love you, Mommy." That is the best. I can't get enough of it.

Fantasty football is pretty cool. I used to think it was stupid, but now that James is playing this time it has been pretty interesting.

I guess that's enough for now.

    LONG LIVE XANGA!

  • Well, we are officially houseparents. We've had our first week alone with the teenage boys and it was great. We absolutely love our new job. I finally get paid to cook and clean. I also take them to school in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon. We help them do their homework and make them do their chores. Basically, we do anything that a good parent is supposed to do. James plays video games with them sometimes and has Bible study with them at night. We take them to church on Sundays and Wednesday nights. The weeks seems to go by pretty quickly. We also get to hang out with Daniel and Laura all the time. It's great getting to be with our friends again. It's fun to really laugh again and have someone to talk to. Anywho, God is blessing and we are excited.
